Chardham Yatra Tour Package :- In accordance with the Hindu mythology the four most holy pilgrimages of Uttarakhand namely – Yamunotri, Gangotri, Shri Kedarnath and shri Badrinath, collectively known as the Char dham, are the most sacred of all pilgrimages in India and world wide. For centuries, saints and pilgrims, in their search for the divine, have walked these mystical valleys known in ancient Hindu scriptures as ‘Kedarkhand’ if the scriptures of HINDU RELIGION are to be believed, the pilgrimage of holy centers of these four sacred spots is a life changing event.
Chardham Yatra is famous for destinations in the Uttarakhand , Kedarnath Dham for Lord Shiva ,Badrinath Dham for Lord Vishnu. Gangotri and Yamunotri dham , is holly river of Ganga ( Bhagirathi) and Yamuna.

It is believed that undertaking a journey to these places will not only wash away one’s sins but also releases one from the cycle of re-birth. It is said that Heaven and Earth converge in these holy spots. In fact the gateway for Char-Dham yatra commences from Hardwar to Yamunotri, going on to Gangotri followed by Kedarnath and the journey culminating at Badrinath. This route follows the Hindu tradition of Parikrama (complete circle).

Package:11 Night 12 Days

Day 1: Delhi – Rishikesh (240 Kms, 7 Hours approx)
Arrive in Delhi, meet and greet with our representative and then drive to Rishikesh, on arrival at Rishikesh check-in hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Rishikesh – Barkot (235 Kms, 7 Hours approx)
Morning, after breakfast , visit local sightseen . After sight seen , check-out the hotel and then drive to Barkot. On arrival check-in Hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Barkot – Yamunotri- Barkot (42 Kms & 5 Kms Trek) Each side
Early morning (4:00 AM) drive to Jankichatti (42 KMS), start 5 Kms trek from Janki Chatti to Yamunotri either by walk, doli or by horse at own cost. On arrival at Yamunotri, take bath in hot Jamunabai Kund then go for Temple darshan, after having Temple darshan you can also cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot water of the hot kund. Pilgrims take this cooked rice back to home as “Prasad”. After this back down to Jankichatti and then proceed to Barkot. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Barkot – Uttarkashi (95Kms, 4 Hours Approx)
Morning (9:00 AM) after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Uttarkashi. In route visit Praketswar Mahadev. On arrival check-in the hotel, In evening we will visit the famous temple of Kashi –Viswnath at Uttarkashi and then back to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 5: Uttarkashi- Gangotri- Uttarkashi (100 Kms) each side
Early morning (5:00 AM) drive to Gangotri. At Gangotri take a holy dip in the river Ganga, It’s also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Then go for Temple darshan, after temple darshan drive back to Uttarkashi for overnight stay.

Day 06: Uttarkashi – Guptakashi (230 kms, 8 Hours approx)
Morning after breakfast drive to Guptakashi, en-route visit Tehri Dam & continue journey towards Guptakashi. On arrival check in at the hotel. evening free at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 07: Guptakashi.–Phata– Kedarnath– Guptakashi. Bya Helicopter (10 Min Flight)
Early morning ( 5:00 AM) go to helipad at Phata or Guptakashi and take flight to Kedarnath.Arrive in Kedarnath Darshan and Special Pooja. After darshan back to Guptakashi .Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Kedarnath: is a majestic sight, standing in the middle of a wide plateau surrounded by lofty snow Covered peaks. The present temple, built in the 8th century by Adi Shankaracharya, stands adjacent to the site of an earlier temple built by the Pandavas. The inner walls of the assembly hall are decoratedwith figures of various deities and scenes from mythology. Outside the temple door a large statue of the Nandi Bull stands as guard.

Day 08: Guptakashi.– Pipalkoti (130 kms, 6 Hours approx)
After breakfast leave for Pipalkoti, on arrival Pipalkoti check in at hotel for overnight stay.

Pipalkoti : is a small and scenic town situated at an elevation of 1,260mts above sea level. It is located 17kms after Chamoli on NH58. Pipalkoti acts a relaxation point for people traveling to Badrinath, Auli, Hemkund Sahib and Valley of Flowers. It is nestled amidst lush green mountains and terraced fields. Pipalkoti provides delightful views of the snow clad mountains and green hills all around.

Day 09: Pipalkoti – Badrinath (80 kms, 3 Hours approx)
Morning leave for Shri Badrinath Ji. On arrival take the holy Darshan. (If time permit). Evening visit, Byas Gufa, Bheem Pul, Saraswati River, Overnight stay at hotel.

Badrinath: Badrinath temple with the towering Neel-kanth peak as the splendid backdrop is situated on the bank of Alaknanda River between twin Mountain ranges of Nar and Narayan. It is considered by many to be the holiest of the four main shrines. The holy temple at Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The spot where the temple stands was long ago carpeted by godess lakshmi in the form of “Badri”or wild berries so as to help lord Vishnu to complete his penance and hence was famous as Badrivan, this is believed to be the origin of the name BADRINATH.
Tapt Kund: Natural thermal springs on the bank of the river Alaknanda, where it is customary to bathe before entering the Badrinath temple.
Narad Kund: A recess in the river, near Tapt Kund, forming a pool from where the Badrinath idol was recovered. Mata Murty Temple: Devoted to the mother of Sri Badrinathji. Other important temples include SeshNetra Temple, Urvashi Temple and Charanpaduka.
Mana Village: Inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian tribe, it is the last Indian village before Tibet.
Bhim Pul: On the other side of Mana village, a massive rock forming a natural bridge lies over the roaring Saraswati River. It presents a spectacular view of water thundering down through the narrow passage under the rock and is believed to have been placed there by Bhim, the second eldest among the five Pandava brothers.
Vyas Gufa (cave): Near Mana Village, this is a rock-cave where Ved Vyas is believed to have composed the Mahabharata and the pauranic commentaries.

Day 10: Badrinath – Srinagar/Devprayag (230 kms, 8 Hours approx )
Morning drive to Haridwar. On arrival check in at hotel. in evening visit temples of Haridwar.and Evening Arti at Harki Pauri and backa to hotel.Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 11: Srinagar/Devprayag – Haridwar (135 Kms, 5 Hours approx)
Morning drive to Haridwar. On arrival check in at hotel. in evening visit temples of Haridwar.and Evening Arti at Harki Pauri and backa to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 12: Haridwar – Delhi (210 kms, 6-7 Hours approx )
Morning drive to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi drop you at the Airport / Railway station for onwards destination. * Tour ends with sweet memories.
